The course is available in twin fall or freefall type lifeboats.

    Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boats (other than Fast Rescue Boats) Course Overview This course is designed to train personnel in the proper actions involved in taking command of launching, and handling of a survival craft during an emergency evacuation/abandonment. The Survival Craft training will prepare candidates involved in taking charge of the launching or handling of survival craft to achieve an appropriate level of competence and confidence in these operations.

    Certificate of Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boats other than Fast Rescue Boats (STCW Reg VI/2) Advanced Fire Fighting (STCW Reg VI/3) 100% attendance, full participation and completion of all practical exercises is required in order to successfully complete the course and qualify for the issue of the course certificate.
